Respite Care

Caring for a loved one is exhausting and you can't pour from an empty cup. As a death doula, I provide respite care so that you can sleep, eat, or rest and generally care for yourself so that you can care for your loved one.

End of Life Support

Navigating a terminal illness diagnosis can be confusing and often times takes up most of your mental power. As a death doula, I can help you make educated decisions about end-of-life care, funeral plans, and support you as you focus on what is important - spending this invaluable time with your loved ones.

Funeral Childcare

Children can bring a necessary balance to funerals - they are resilient, joyful, and silly and this energy can be a relief from the otherwise somber mood of the occasion. However, sometimes bringing children along can be difficult as they will likely get restless throughout the wake or service. As a death doula, I provide Funeral Nanny support for families so that their children can be present but also supervised and entertained so that their caregivers can be fully present for the service.

Grief Coaching

There is no handbook for grieving and there are many types of grief that we deal with through the loss of a loved one. As you process your grief, I can provide non-medical support and guidance in a way that will allow you to process some of the feelings and thoughts you are experiencing.

End of Life Planning

As a death doula, I work with healthy adults of all ages to make educated end-of-life plans so that, in the event of sudden death, incapacitation, or terminal illness, their wishes will be known and their loved ones and they can have a say in how their body is handled before, during, and after their death.

Emergency Funeral Planning

Sudden death is traumatic and making emergency funeral arrangements when a loved one dies suddenly is a task of immeasurable difficulty. As a death doula, I support friends and families suffering sudden loss by helping them make educated funeral arrangements, gathering items needed for memorial services such as clothes, photos, etc., and grief support.

Additional services include planning and conducting vigils, conducting living funerals, facilitating legacy and life review projects, material artifact support (post-death home organization), providing support and comfort to the terminally ill, and pet doula services.
